Taryn Compagnoni | Jeweller and Designer
The beauty of my trade is being able to create with my hands.
As a jeweller and designer with over 20 years of experience, I specialise in crafting beautiful, high-quality custom jewellery. From one-of-a-kind pieces that become cherished family heirlooms to tailored creations that meet each customer's unique needs, I take pride in producing truly special pieces – every time.
My workshop is located in the peaceful West Australian countryside, and it's here where all the magic happens. Every piece of jewellery is designed and crafted with passion and care, in a small space dedicated to creativity.
HOW I GOT TO THIS PLACE?
After leaving school in 1999, I completed a Fine Arts Degree with a Jewellery and 3D major, and an apprenticeship at Solid Gold. I worked and travelled to different coastal locations in Australia, each place providing me with invaluable learning opportunities. The Broome Pearl and Argyle diamond industries were fascinating and working with independent successful family run businesses was a great way for me to see what was possible.
In 2010, I achieved my goal of opening my own Jewellery Gallery in Mt Lawley. With the help of my best friend Natalia and a team of dedicated staff, we built a successful business with many loyal customers. These years were an exciting time in my life and included a three-month diamond setting study program in Antwerp, Belgium. Although intense and challenging, It was one of the best things I have ever done. I learnt a lot more about the diamond industry and this experience had a significant positive impact on my career advancement.
In 2017, I closed the doors to my beloved gallery to focus on my family and move back to the country. So, this is where we are. I have a little workshop at home on the farm, I run my business online. My loyal customers both old and new contact me whichever way works best for them; email, messenger, Instagram or phone and we work together to create beautiful jewellery pieces that will last a lifetime.
